The state of Florida needs to be competitive, and in order to elevate our state to the national and international standards, we must allocate a substantial share of the Florida budget into our school system. Students who attend certain failing schools should have an equal opportunity to obtain a school voucher allowing them to access a charter school of their choice. Science, technology, engineering and mathematics are the best recipes to shape the young men and women of Florida into well-rounded and productive citizens for the future of Florida.
